Q: Are the connectors use in your power cables UL or CSA approved?
A: All connectors (Furutech, Wattgate, Marinco) used in our power cables are UL/CSA certified.
Q: Is the wire/cable used in your power cables UL or CSA approved?
A: The Impact bulk power cable is manufactured in Taiwan by Sunshine Wire&Cable and meets the Taiwanese Indoor Electric Wiring Code (IEWC) standard.
BTW: This the exact same power cable used in the $250.00 DH Labs power plus cable. However the Impact power cable has undergone an additional cryogenic treatment step.
The Statement and Signature bulk power cable are manufactured in Japan by Furukawa Electric and meets the Japanese Electric Association Code (JEAC/JEA) standards.
The IEWC and JEAC/JEA standards meet or exceed current CSA/UL standards. Much of the Japanese and Taiwanese manufacturing output is exported to North America so the ability
to meet UL/CSA standards is essential.
